ZAPATA Inducted into Carolina STAR Program
On November 8, 2010 ZAPATA was inducted into the North Carolina Occupational Safety and Health Carolina STAR Program. The NC OSH Division and the NC Commissioner of Labor, Cherie Berry, publically recognized ZAPATA’s exemplary safety program during this event. The Carolina Star Program is an intensive evaluation process that recognizes businesses that have exemplary safety programs and performance. ZAPATA’s model safety and health culture is based on continuous training, development and strict adherence to SOPs, and open communications for all safety and health topics and our employees understanding that safety is priority number one.
