ZAPATA Welcomes Winston Shaffer, REM, PMP
Charlotte, NC, June 7, 2011. ZAPATA is pleased to announce Winston Shaffer, REM, PMP has been named Director of Air Force Programs and has established ZAPATA’s new San Antonio office.
Mr. Shaffer (LTC-Ret.) joins ZAPATA with 25 years of experience in the Energy, Environmental, Safety, Occupational Health (EESOH), Chemical, Biological Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN), and Emergency Management fields. Mr. Shaffer has broad experience with Program and Project Management and delivering value-added solutions across complex EESOH, CBRN, and construction spectrums. As both a United States Air Force Bioenvironmental Engineer and Army Reserve Environmental Science Officer, he has worked in partnership with the Department of Defense for more than two decades.
In his new position, Mr. Shaffer will serve as the Director of Air Force Programs. He will lead ZAPATA’s technical and contracting staff in supporting our US Air Force clients worldwide.
