ZAPATA announces Jason Shiflet, PG as Director of Operations, MRS and ECRS Division
Charlotte, NC, September 26, 2011. ZAPATA is pleased to announce the promotion of Jason E. Shiflet, PG to Director of Operations, Munitions Response Services and Environmental Compliance and Remediation Services (MRS/ECRS) Division. The MRS/ECRS Division is a business unit of ZAPATA which supports Federal and commercial clients worldwide with conducting site investigation, characterizations and removal and remedial actions at sites contaminated with Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) and Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW).
Mr. Shiflet has been with ZAPATA for 12 years as Project Manager and Geologist. His experience includes managing HTRW/MEC engineering investigations, characterizations and remediations for numerous Federal and commercial clients across the U.S. As Director of Operations, Mr. Shiflet is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Project Managers, scientists, engineers, and technicians from multiple ZAPATA office locations providing engineering and field services to clients worldwide.
