Jennifer Snider, CPCM, Joins ZAPATA

ZAPATA has a new contracts manager—Jennifer Snider. She is a Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) with 18 years of experience managing cradle-to-grave contracting processes for multimillion-dollar DoW and Federal programs. Ms. Snider received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Columbia Southern University in Alabama.

Ms. Snider began her career as a military police officer in the United States Army. After completing her time in service, Ms. Snider worked in Kuwait as a civilian contractor for Combat Support, performing contract administration on two major contracts.

Today, Ms. Snider serves as ZAPATA’s primary point of contact for clients and subcontractors regarding contractual matters. Her responsibilities include providing proposal support and reviewing and negotiating a variety of agreement types such as prime contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and joint venture agreements.

Ms. Snider analyzes contract provisions and provides contract interpretation, risk assessment, and mitigation guidance to senior-level management while maintaining compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other Federal contracting regulations. Working closely with Project Management, Operations, and Finance, Ms. Snider is part of a team that works to ensure contractual obligations are met through ongoing monitoring and compliance oversight.
