Nicholas Massey Joins ZAPATA

ZAPATA has a new architect in training—Nicholas (Nick) Massey—and we are delighted that he has joined our A-E team.

Mr. Massey is a recent graduate of Clemson University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a minor in Business Administration, making the Dean’s List twice in 2022.

While in high school, Mr. Massey served as an intern for the City of Rock Hill, South Carolina, in their planning and development department. Throughout the internship he learned about the construction process, city inspections, and building codes.

At ZAPATA, Mr. Massey will gain valuable on-the-job experience working for the firm’s DoD and industrial clients, under the supervision of an in-house team of licensed architects and engineers. His responsibilities will involve architectural detailing for drawings; site visits to document conditions, construction inspections; quality and compliance checks, and preparing technical specifications, schedules, and budgets.
