We are very pleased to add a new colleague to our Architecture team. Mr. Raymond Ashe, AIA, joined ZAPATA in the firm’s Atlanta, Georgia office. He is a Georgia Tech alumnus with two degrees: Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science. Additionally, he is NCARB-certified and registered in four states.

Mr. Ashe has over 35 years of experience designing and managing architectural projects worldwide. Throughout his career, the registered architect has been responsible for numerous public assembly venues; examples include: Georgia Southern University’s Stadium Expansion, Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium at the University of Louisville; Coliseum at the University of West Georgia; and the United Spirit Arena at Texas Tech University.

His portfolio also includes battalion headquarters and barracks complex, laboratories, dining and maintenance and training/conference facilities, and historic building renovations for clients such as: USACE, NAVFAC, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), State of Qatar, and Georgia Department of Transportation.

At ZAPATA, Mr. Ashe will continue to manage design and construction projects with a focus on military code and design requirements; this will include new and retrofit projects for buildings and infrastructure construction.
