April 3, 2025ZAPATA announced William (Will) Kromah, EI, has joined the firm’s structural engineering team.
Mr. Kromah will provide structural designs and technical specifications for new construction and renovation projects for the firm’s military, major utilities, and commercial clients. He will participate in site visits to document conditions, perform structural analysis and forensic investigations, and review engineering plans for compliance.
Mr. Kromah is a graduate of the Master of Civil Engineering program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, with a focus on structural engineering. He also holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the same institution. In 2015 he received his Engineer Intern (EI) certification.
Prior to joining ZAPATA, Mr. Kromah worked as a lead transmission line designer. In this position he determined loads and designed steel transmission poles, reviewed fabrication drawings, prepared calculation packages, and provided construction support. His notable projects included: designing a large reroute project for a Montana energy delivery client, and leading transmission line response projects for an energy client in Texas.
Outside of work, Mr. Kromah enjoys watching football, wrestling, and soccer. He can also be found listening to the latest audiobook or traveling to new places.
