ZAPATA Black & Veatch JV Wins $25M USACE Kansas City District MATOC Contract

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Kansas City District awarded the ZAPATA Black & Veatch Joint Venture (JV) an indefinite delivery contract [W912DQ25DA005] for architect and engineer (A-E) design services. This is a five-year, $25 million, multiple award task order contract (MATOC) for work within USACE’s Northwestern Division Area of Responsibility. ZAPATA is the managing partner for this JV.

The ZAPATA Black & Veatch JV recently signed the finalized contract with USACE Kansas City District, and the JV stands ready to provide A-E designs and specifications, assessments, and construction phase services for a variety of new construction and renovation projects. Potential project types under this multi-discipline A-E contract include barracks and child development centers; training, industrial, and administrative facilities; historic structures; aircraft support systems, runways, and pavements; force protection upgrades; and repair/replacement of architectural elements and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

With a work history dating back to 2005, the JV partners, ZAPATA Group, Inc. (ZAPATA) and Black & Veatch Special Projects Corp. (BV), combined to form a highly qualified architecture-engineering JV entity.
