Black & Veatch-ZAPATA JV Wins USACE Wilmington A-E Contract

ZAPATA, in a joint venture (JV) with Black & Veatch, was awarded Contract No. W912PM23D0003 with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Wilmington District. This an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ), architect-engineer (A-E), multiple award task order contract (MATOC) valued at $49 million.

The JV will provide A-E support to USACE Wilmington District for their Civil Works and Military Planning and Design Programs, which includes both Military Construction (MILCON) and Sustainment, Restoration, Modernization (SRM) projects.

This solid relationship between the two firms and their commitment to serving the A-E needs of the Department of Defense resulted in the 2017 formation of this joint venture. The JV members are currently working together on multiple, large, and highly complex A-E TOs for USACE Norfolk District and at several Army Ammunition Plants.
