Darian Jacobs II Joins ZAPATA

ZAPATA welcomes Darian Jacobs to Charlotte, NC—and to the company where he will gain valuable experience as an architect in training.

Mr. Jacobs attended Howard University in Washington, DC, and received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Design Studies and a Master of Architecture. During his college years, Mr. Jacobs competed in several design competitions and undertook three different architecture internships where he worked on hospitality, residential, and community/cultural center projects.

At ZAPATA, Mr. Jacobs will work under the supervision of an in-house team of licensed architects and engineers to provide architectural detailing for drawings. He will assist in the planning, designing, and monitoring of new construction, renovation, and improvement projects. His responsibilities also will involve site visits to document conditions, drafting construction plans and details, and preparing technical specifications, schedules, and construction documents.
